EPC Clinic for your commercial portfolio

If your energy rating is poor-ly,
call the EPC Doctor!

New legislation which started in April 2018 will not allow you to let or sell your commercial property unless it carries a minimum ‘E’ band EPC rating.

Lease extensions, also, cannot be completed without the minimum band rating.
Should your property need an energy efficiency upgrade, we can help. Following an assessment, and with the aid of our software, our team will be able to calculate the most competitive option to achieve the desired rating.

If you are renting, please pass this information on to your Landlord.

Check your EPC rating

"The penalties for non-compliance are surprisingly hefty, and much higher than the fines for not having an EPC in the first place, with a possible maximum fine of £150,000."

How it works
A survey report, together with an EPC, will give you the information you need to make your building more energy efficient. It provides an energy rating for a building which is based on the performance and potential of the building itself (the fabric) and its services (such as heating, ventilation and lighting).

On completion the surveyor will discuss his findings with you and advise on the most cost effective ways to reduce your energy bills.

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is intended to inform potential buyers or tenants about the energy performance of the building, so they can consider energy efficiency as part of their investment decision to buy or occupy that building.
An EPC is always accompanied by a recommendation report with a list of cost effective measures to improve the energy rating of your building. An EPC will be valid for up to 10 years. EPCs are produced using standard methods and assumptions about energy use so that the energy efficiency of a building can be compared to another of the same type.
